Hello and welcome to Climb On! Long Island. We are a group of climbers that meet on a weekly basis at Island Rock (IR) in Plainview. Island Rock (an indoor climbing gym)is a great place to learn basic climbing skills and improve your ability for the real thing. Being outdoor enthusiasts, we do a variety of activities which include indoor and outdoor rock climbing, ice climbing, hiking, camping, and backpacking.  Interested in joining our group? No experience is needed and your first visit will include climbing just as soon as you get there.  We will belay*!  To all newbies looking to join, don't go by our confirmed attendies, we always have a minimum of 10 regular group members at every meeting.

Pricing:

- On your first visit to our group, IR charges $25.  No charge from the group.

        This includes; daypass, shoes, harness, and belayer.

- Every visit to our group here after, IR charges $15.

- Membership to our group is only a one time fee of $10, due on your second visit to our group.

        (Its $25 for your first two visits and $15 per visit thereafter.)

Our group is getting bigger and bigger and I couldn’t be happier. Due to the group getting larger we can no longer have newbie’s come with friends. Only after a newbie has joined the group and has been belay certified are they free to invite whoever they want.

Group meetings are every Wednesday from 7-10pm.  7-9pm for non-belay certified members
