"Join us for the 21th annual Tarwheel Century. It's time to put winter aside and get back in the saddle for the 'world's flattest century'. The Tarwheel Century will be one of the most beautiful rides you can do. Our completely sagged century will take you through the country setting of Camden County. If Mother Nature cooperates, there will be azaleas and dogwood trees in bloom along the attractive waterside."
They have once again changed the routes so (thankfully) this year the 100 mile route DOES NOT include the Great Dismal Swamp. (I'm pretty sure that's where my tire got shredded due to the pavement being so rutted.)
I will be making dinner reservations for everyone at Cypress Creek on Friday night. If you DO NOT plan to join us for dinner at Cypress Creek please let me know so I can take you off of the list. If you are bringing guest(s) please let me know how many will be with you. http://www.cypresscreekgrill.com/menu.html
Please be advised that there is still construction going on at the only bridge that takes you out of Elizabeth City to Camden and plan accordingly. It took us about 45 minutes to get back into Elizabeth City one evening due to traffic congestion.
