What makes you interested in Clojure or in the group in general?

I'm intrigued by the promise of Clojure to be more concise than Java, easier to do concurrent programming in, and the potential to use one language on the web client and the server while preserving current Java investment.

What are you hoping to get from the Clojadelphia?

Learning curve help with the language, tools, libraries. To discuss ideas of how to expand the user of Clojure.

Anything you hope to add to group?

I wish to help future members to use Clojure to solve their problem as I hope to be helped.

Scientist/programmer turned manager. I current manage a group doing web programming using Java/JavaScript in the Pharma tools market after having done Microsoft desktop and embedded life science projects for many years.

What Darryl S. is saying about this Meetup Group

Glad I came. More could be done to get attendees to know each other to encourage contact after the event.
