Great! I was pleased to have a chance to hear a talk by Rich himself, and his emphasis on interfaced-based design gave me alot to think about. Since I do mostly C++, I've been pondering how best to capture Java-style interfaces in that language -- base classes are not quite right, maybe something with 0x concepts...

I thought the room was a bit too hot and stuffy. Also, I saw setup for coffee but there wasn't any coffee - this I only point out because that day I really needed it!

I thought the speakers were all very good in their own right. As a Clojure newbie, I was happy to see things both within my understanding and just beyond it to spark my curiosity. I am planning on attending in the future.

Excellent speakers and I learned a lot about Clojure. I am very happy this group was created.

I'm not a clojure user but I'm definitely interested after seeing the presentations by Rich Hickey and Stuart Sierra.

Couldn't get into the first presentation (I use emacs). Second presentation was goodish, but I've seen it before. Rich Hickey's presentation was amazing.

The space was ok, but it felt a little cramped and it was hard to see the projector. I'd vote for a space that spreads out a bit more. Regarding paying for the space. That's fine, but I almost certainly won't attend every meeting like I would if it were free. I'll want to make sure the talks are worth it before I commit.

    Overall, I'm certainly excited!

Having the creator of the language at the first meetup was awesome and it was very cool to hear Rich talk about what he's working on. Though it does set the are pretty high for future groups.

    Great location.
Friendly people--and the social at the Hog Pit afterwards was a lot of fun also!
Really interesting, applicable discussions to help you become a better Clojure developer.
