First ever NYC Clojure Hack Day

  • April 19, 2014 · 2:00 PM
  • Pivotal Labs

For a long time, we've discussed having a longer time to hack on projects together. Pivotal Labs has generously agreed to host us for this event!

On Saturday, April 19th, we'll get together for several hours to work on our own projects, join others, or work on interesting Clojure problems to learn the language. All experience levels are welcome!

Please post your ideas for projects to work on! If you already have code, documentation, and ideas: post them here, so that potential collaborates can familiarize themselves with the project. You can include your information on the wiki here: https://github.com/dgrnbrg/ClojureNYC/wiki/April-19,-2014---Hack-Day-Ideas

Hello, the building locks the front door at 2pm, but we'll stick a note how to contact us, or come down regularly to let you in.

Wish I could join. This is the Saturday of my kids' spring break. Looking forward to next one.

This is a great idea, and I hope it will be postponed. The Haskell hackathon is this weekend April 4-6, and being one of the nearest neighbor languages to Clojure, wouldn't it be nice to put a bit more space between them?

Unfortunately, we're not going to postpone. We will look into holding another one in the future!

ok, I will try to come! At least it starts a bit later and doesn't end too late. That helps me alot since I commute in.

I wont be there, have to move house. But I do hope everyone has fun. The Pivotal office (where I work) is a great venue with ping pong and all kinds of refreshments provided.

This sounds like a great idea. Sadly (or maybe not so sadly), I'll be away enjoying the fresh air in upstate new york.
