Thanks for the link. The issues with actors seen by the clojure community appears to be based in the unnecessary overhead of actors on single process systems. Does that sound correct?

If so, then I'm still confused. Actors will be useful at any point your clojure process need to become 2 or more processes. It's like thumbing your nose at distributed computing...
