What is CloudStack?
Apache CloudStack (Incubating) is open source software designed to deploy and manage large networks of virtual machines, as a highly available, highly scalable, hypervisor agnostic Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud computing platform. CloudStack is used by a number of service providers to offer public cloud services, and by many companies to provide an on-premise (private) cloud offerings. Apache CloudStack is an effort undergoing incubation at The Apache Software Foundation (ASF).
Join the Apache Community.
The Apache Community is a vibrant one and many of you must be using, contributing and working with Apache projects at various levels in either a personal capacity or at your respective organizations.
Apache Cloudstack has been learning the ropes itself and would like to invite, help blossom and nurture its community through your participation.
We will have talks from members of the foundation, committers, and users of CloudStack discussing various aspects of its development, history, architecture, operation and in general the direction of the project in this and upcoming meetups. And most importantly - how to get started on contributing yourself.
