No, I have never been to a Maker Space.
Recently, I just acquired a 3D printer and CNC router for the Engineering and Technology Education department at the high school I teach at. I would love to learn more about these technologies in order to apply them in my classroom.
Most of the projects I have completed are a Rube Goldberg machine, a puzzle cube design challenge, affordable home design for Habitat for Humanity, some basic 3D printing, and some basic electronics projects.
At this time, I am not interested in becoming an organizer due to some of the other obligations with my career.
I'm an engineering and technology education teacher that loves being able to teach students to become more technologically literate. Some interests I have are: CNC, CAD programs, 3-D printing, electronics and manufacturing/production processes.
