What is your running experience so far, for example, are you just beginning your running routine? Or maybe you are you a seasoned marathon runner?

I started running in high school. I'd run about 3-6 miles 4-5 days a week and loved it. I went to college and got lazy and eventually hurt my back and needed a lumbar fusion which had me on bedrest for about 6 months. I thought I'd never run again. About two months ago I sucked it up, put on my running shoes and hit the road. I am working on building distance and pace.

Do you have any specific fitness/running goals you would like to achieve?

I completed my first 5k a month ago and will complete my first 10k this sunday (October 27, 2013). I plan on running in the Nike Woman's half marathon in April 2014 and MAYBE even the Nation's tri in Sept 2014.

How far would you like to run and at approx what pace?

I currently run anywhere from 2-6 miles a day at around a 10 minute pace.

Hey everyone! My name is Nicole. I just moved to College Park about 8 months ago with my boyfriend and our puppy. I work in DC and during my free time I love to run, lift and cook! I'm looking forward to making some new friends here.
