    Our March event takes place again at Capital Factory.

    If you are new to this group and have a project in mind, or have already started a startup and need a co-founder, engineers, etc, - looking for your first angel, - or interested to join a startup, come join us for a great night of startup pitches, networking, good beer, wine and food.

    Please make sure that you apply with your pitch deck early, as we are expecting to make some difficult choices between all the great pitch proposals. 

    March 2014 Meetup Venue: Capital Factory

    How to get there:

    On top of the Omni hotel on 8th and Brazos on the 16th floor in Austin downtown. You will find $5 garage parking across the Omni at Brazos, between 7th and 8th. 

    Format:

    You are an entrepreneur with a developed concept or a running startup pre VC round, looking for co-founders, talent, or investors. 

    Why?

    Because it is fun! and also pitching in our Meetup lets you "practice" your pitch and get feedback from other startups and investors, always a good thing!

    How to attend in the audience?

    Simply RSVP.

    If you are a software or hardware developer, or UX/UI designer, or developer interested in joining a cool startup, you can attend for FREE. Just send an e-mail to [masked].

    Otherwise, the contribution is $10 to cover for this non-profit event. Drinks and food provided. 

    RSVP this time closes 3pm the day of the event. If spots are left, you can sign-in at the door. To avoid delays, please RSVP online. 

    How to apply as a presenter?

    The deadline to send your pitch deck is Sunday, March 2nd, 2014:

    1. Who are you? 
    2. What is your business? 
    3. Why does it matter? 
    4. What is your business or revenue/traction model? 
    5. What are you asking for?

    The presentations are limited to strictly three slides, plus one cover slide with your logo, and a final slide with your contacts. Remember that you'll only have max 4 minutes to present. 

    NEW: To maximize screen space during presentations and avoid formatting issues, please submit only Powerpoint slides in 16:9 format. You can change from classic 6:4 format under Page Setup.

    When is this not the right event for you?

    If you plan to attend to sell something, this is not the right event for you.
