  • Hi Brian,

I'd love to practice my Greek. I'm not actually on facebook though and don't want to be. Did you mean that the learning is via facebook? If not and everyone actually meets that sounds great. I want to work on grammar!!!

  • Hey Brian,

I was just about to say that the link doesn't work, but I see that someone has beaten me to it!
Could you post the link again, please?

    Thanks,

    Hellen

  • Hi Brian,

Thanks for the greeting. I checked your link but can't find the facebook page. I think the greek meetup group would a good way of practicing your Greek. I'll have a look at your other webpage when I get some time.

    Regards,

    Stratis

  • Hi Brian, Irene suggests that the meetup is in August, so I think SUNDAY, August 15 @ 3pm is best. Cost of £15 payable to [masked] covers all the ingredients and food for the day -- so far it's kefthedes, spanakopita, tiropita, maybe meat with rigani! (British meat, though, as I'm not going to Greece before then!). Let me know if you can make it! Margie - 07580545112

  • Hi Brian,
Sorry for the delay in answering you, Im also new to this group and have not attended any meetups yet. I did, however attend a free all day session on Self Esteem a few years ago with Brahma Kumaris in hounslow, which I enjoyed, and a womens' 5 week couse early last year so Im hoping it will be similiar to what I have experienced before. • Hello!

I host a wine, food & drink tasting meetup which is a lot of fun and is receiving amazing reviews :)

We are a diverse & interesting crowd, with around 20-50 people at each event.

Our aim is to learn, mingle and explore London with our tastebuds!

Perhaps you'd like to join us?

    Here's the link: www.meetup.com/tastour www.tastour.co.uk

    Cheers, Kelly

PS. I also host a BYOB meetup, which host dinners & wine tastings at exotic restaurants!

  • I don't think so Brian. We all have emotions and all relationships are about communication and trust whether gay or straight. You probably need to be open-minded though and realise that there are generally more open relationships within the gay community, at least I think so. Also the very fact that you have asked the question shows that you are sensitive to any differences there may be in gay relationships. Good luck, Simon.
