As skilled web developers, we often find ourselves developing projects for others. But what happens to our own ideas? It's been said that a mechanic never works on his own car. And sadly, the same can be said about most web developers. We're often so busy building websites and apps for others that our own ventures never take flight.
North Jersey Code Junkies(NJCJ) is a collective of like minded individuals that hold the knowledge to build anything web-related. As a group we pool our ideas for apps to build, and then vote on a new idea each month. Prior to meeting, we'll review the requirements, establish specs, and assign specific roles and teams for everyone. We meet once a month for a full day of coding, that ends with finished product being submitted to the Apple, Google, and Windows app stores.
