Weekly Hack Night

Our weekly work session will be at the Cambridge Innovation Center in Kendall Square, on the FOURTH FLOOR, in the KATHMANDU room. These Hack Nights are our time to meet in person to work on and discuss civic tech projects. Come by to say hi and hack with us!

The Red Line stop for CIC is Kendall. For those who drive, there is a pay parking lot underneath the building, and limited meter parking in the area. Additionally, the MIT Hayward St lot is free after 5pm. Please make sure to check in with security when you arrive.

    Hi. I don't know if you read about the Bike Prescription program between Hubway and Boston Medical Center, but the program is "prescribing" Hubway memberships for 1,000 low income individuals. Related to this, I would be interested in doing some data mapping/visualizations related to Hubway stations, bike infrastructure and income/other neighborhood SES variables in the City of Boston to see how accessible Hubway is to low-income neighborhoods. Let's talk if you are interested. I think that Hubway has released all of the data that we would need aside from the Census variables.
