Text-My-Bus User Testing

In place of our weekly civic hack sessions inside The LAB we will be conducting a survey for our TextMyBusMIA: SMS Interface for Miami Dade Transit Bus Systems at two different bus hubs: Government Center and Dadeland South

WHAT TO BRING:

Please bring printouts of the sticker designsurvey and markers if possible!

Directions on finding stop id and filing out sticker here: https://github.com/Code-for-Miami/mdt-bus-sms

LOCATION:

If you're going to Government Center, please meet in front of the outdoor escalators on NW 1st street between NW 1st avenue & NW 2nd avenue. We'll start at 7 pm.

If you're going to Dadeland South, please meet at the bus terminal portion of the station, downstairs on the southwest side.

WHAT TO DO:

The goal tonight is to find any bugs or design flaws we may have overlooked. Please remember that we're here to serve the community. Don't pressure anyone and please be as polite and accommodating as possible.

Fill out a sticker form for your stop id and route.

Ask people to help us test the service by following the instructions on the sticker.

Take notes using the survey as a guide for your questions.

    To save yourself some searching:

    NW 1 ST@NW 1 AV - Stop 10215
    Bus lines: 11, 51, 77, 207, 208, 277

    NW 1 AV@NW 2 ST - Stop 1241
    Bus lines: 207, 208, 95e*

I can't tell what buslines Dadeland South goes to, it doesn't say on Google Maps. :(

    * Not quite sure how to translate that

I commute home through the Govt. Center hub on Mondays. I'll try and time it so I can be there. Anything that helps make the metro bus more desirable is a great idea!
