Calling all Philly Hackers,
For the third straight year, we are holding an EdTech Hackathon (on May 2nd-4th) to continue to support our schools and grow the Philly EdTech community.
As always, you’re free to work on any ideas that you are interested to pursue, but we also will seed the idea pool with needs identified by teachers, students, schools and organizations that have immediate potential for use and impact. Whether you already have a project underway, plan to start a new one, or want to join a team, your skills are needed.
A short description of the event and links to the sites are below. Registration happens on the Meetup Page and we collect suggestions for ideas on the AppsforPhilly site. See you there.

Details: May 2-4th @ Science Leadership Academy Center City

The event starts Friday night with a kickoff party at Impact Hub (1227 N 4th St) and continues Saturday and Sunday at SLA Center City (22nd and Arch). For $10, you get a t-shirt and food all weekend long (thanks to our sponsors for covering the additional costs!).
One important thing to note is that you don't have to know how to code because we need educators, designers, marketers, writers, and testers too. We're also looking for app ideas for the hackers to build. Feel free to suggest any idea you have on the site and then pitch it on Friday night at the kickoff event to try to recruit a team. We hope to see you there!
