    Hi all!

This month we've got a presentation from Micah, a planner in the Earthquake Safety Implementation Program. He'll be telling us about the project he's working on, and the app he is thinking of. Here's the blurb:

We are building a simple web app for our website www.sfcapss.org/softstory. We're doing this because the City of San Francisco recently passed an ordinance requiring a some homes to undergo mandatory retrofits, making these mostly large apartment buildings safer in an Earthquake. Building owners have to follow a timeline for retrofitting, part of which is determined by soil status. The app use a database we created to produce a simple yes-no answer for the user about whether they are in certain zones.

Micah will have the database and other materials tomorrow.

    See you all tomorrow!
