Programming & coding for 5-17 year olds.
This second workshop we will allocate different programming games and languages to different tables. Children can sit according to their interest, rather than age.
A separate programming (or otherwise) table will be available for parents, after they have made their child feel comfortable. We hope that parents will use this opportunity to master the material and will be willing to help other people's children when mentors are occupied.
Some children will want to freewheel and experiment themselves (which we greatly encourage). For those who prefer frames and guidelines, we will provide exercises and examples.
Your child should bring a laptop with a mouse that is easy to operate for you child, and a keyboard on which the keys correspond with what they produce on the screen. And, please, provide them with a snack & drink to keep them perky, and a parent or other adult if they're 12 years old or under.
See you at Colab!
