It's been quite a while since we've had a board game night. I'd like to play Ticket to Ride, or Settlers of Catan, but I'm also up for pretty much anything. Suggest something in the comments, or just bring it along.

Coming to support Dave and his revitalization efforts, but I may be late if Germany and Brazil run into extra time.

Right! Cup. Haven't been keeping up with the schedule.

It was the stuff legends are made of, but no extra time. GER 7 BRA 1

No worries about being a touch late with this one folks, see you when you get there!

Hi - I'd like to bring a game called Corpus to play. Takes about 30 minutes.
Sounds good to me. Looks like we'll have enough people that multiple games will be going on anyways.
I might be like 15 mins late but you guys can start a game :)

Might get there a few minutes late
Hi, I've never been to one of your meet ups and was hoping to play settlers of catan. How many players do we need to have a satisfying play though?

I don't have the expansion, so three-four is a good game really. If we end up staying at the gate, I believe they have the expansion we can borrow for up to six. Always glad to have new faces too. See you Tuesday.
I have the Seafarers and C&K expansions, if you're interested. I do also have the 5-6 for each, but with more than four people the game gets really unwieldy.

I was hoping for standard settlers expansion, but also think VG has it on their shelf anyways. Bring anything you'd like to play. I've only had one experience with C&K and that was with 6 and a power gamer that hated losing.
For the record, Tuesday night, 6-10 (closing time) is when VG hosts the weekly board gamer's group. Plenty of other people there, bringing all kinds of games.

I always forget about them. I may shift locations, may not. Thoughts? My free time is limited these days.
Is the goal to have your own little thing, or to get more people involved, and possibly recruit more people to this group? Since you intend to do the same thing as them, it seems counterproductive to go elsewhere.
We'll stay put and make a mega gaming night. OUR POWERS COMBINED.....
Come drink coffee (or something else), play board games, meet new people.
The group is set up to give people the opportunity to meet people in a comfortable place without too much pressure to make conversation.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
