Hi I am from Orange County- Fountain Valley & My mother and I are writing a book of my family & my experiences & challenges that we have overcome since my life altering car accident. We are looking for a group to help assist us in finishing and publishing this book & keeping us accountable to do so. It is more lived than on paper, yet it is in my laptop. This is our first book and we just need some help in this :D Any suggestion of a group like this?

      Hello Gina,

We are a critique group, first and foremost. We can certainly help with polishing up your manuscript. We have had a number of memoirs come through the group, from trips to Antarctica to Special Ed Teachers including a refugee from the Khmer Rouge invasion of Cambodia.

We don't deal with publishing at all.

We will be meeting on November 13, but will be off until January 8, 2013. Barnes and Nobel (where we meet) is taking our meeting spot to offer gift-wrapping service.

    Brendan:
I am still at a loss as to how to submit a work. As I told you I am an absolute cretan when it comes to computers. I do have a pretty good work to submit but have no idea of the steps to take. Treat me as a first grader and lead me through baby steps it you can.
    Thank you,
    Richarad

Richard, I will get you instructions later today. Remember, this is an on-line group. Everything is done on-line. If you are uncomfortable using basic internet functions (navigating to pages, clicking on links, or uploading and downloading files, this group will be nothing but frustration for you.
