How I raised $47M in venture capital - with Andrew Romans, founder, VC and angel

Meet Andrew Romans, VC at Rubicon Venture Capital. He was also the founder of GTX, where he personally raised $47M in VC funding.

He is the author of the book: The Entrepreneurial Bible to Venture Capital, Inside Secrets from the Leaders in the Startup Game

“This book is an insiders’ guide on what is going on in the venture capital ecosystem right now. Imperative reading for entrepreneurs, VCs, and any supporters of entrepreneurship.“ – Tim Draper, Managing Director, Draper, Fisher, Jurvetson (DFJ)

“Andrew Romans unveils some of the secrets behind the best and the worst behaviors between VCs and entrepreneurs.” - Antoine Papiernik, Managing Partner, Sofinnova Partners

“Filled with data, concrete examples and anecdotes from people who’ve flanked the startup front line from every angle and had success.” - Jon Kraft, founding CEO of Pandora, former COO of UberMedia.

"I wish everyone that comes to our VC firm for financing conversations would read this book!" - Scott Maxwell, General Partner, OpenView Venture Partners

Andrew previously ran The Founders Club, a venture capital equity exchange fund. He was previously a managing partner at Georgetown Venture Partners (GVP) and a managing director ofSentito Networks (acquired Verso).

Andrew gave the prospective from both the entrepreneur side when he raised money, and the VC side. He provided great insights on the VC world, and how different kind of VC operate. Great information.
I also really enjoyed the networking aspect of this event, great people, great conversation.
