Erin and Wendy illistrated well in the beginning class of how meaningful it can be to vary volume, speed, add accents, and add silence to allow for a "conversation" to take place among the drummers. Stress was also placed of "listening" the the lead drum. Even experts can benefit from reminders to "get back to the basics" on occassion. ”
