What interests you about Celtic Reconstructionist Paganism?

I find that Druidry, especially, mingles all my passions; myth, legend, music, "the Green". I am personally decended from Welsh/Scots/and Irish. My last name, "Weeks" turns out to be derived from wyc which is the same stem that "wicca" comes I'm connected somehow back in the distant past; hence my craft name, "Wickwillow". As a solitary, and as a dweller here in this century, I'm accustomed to "putting it together for myself" which is really what the reconstruction is all about! We don't dwell across the pond, so we have to connect to the flora and fauna that exist here with us. I feel connection, thru the land, to the local spirits who are more "Native American-y". But I'm "not" an native american, (indigenous), even though Native TO America. So I'd rather not be a displaced Celt, or anything like that. I'm connected to this place at this time. I'm a resident of earth. A "Human-American??" LOL.

Hi; I'm Hal; aka Gwion Wickwillow; interested in "plugging in" to the local pagan/wiccan community. I've been a solitary for quite some time, but it's so...solitary! Looking for community. Happy to be here.
