How much Colorado-fun can you have in a single day?
The Charge Harder Coloradathon was designed to try to answer this question. On Saturday June 15th, we will wake up at the crack of dawn, Charge Hard all day long participating in as many Colorado activities as thought possible, and continue to have fun until it's time to go to sleep that night....
Here's the loose schedule for the day:
6 AM - 9 Holes of Golf
9 AM - Wakeboarding Behind the Boat
12 PM - Motorcycle Ride (for those that have them)
12:30 - Whitewater Kayak/Extreme Inner Tubing on the Clear Creek in Golden
2 PM - Hike up St Mary's Glacier and Snowboard/Ski Down
5 PM - Mountain Bike Ride
8 PM - Blackhawk Casino
11 PM - Keep the party going and tell war stories at a bar in Denver
This schedule is subject to change. There is talk of adding additional events or alternate tracks for people that want to do different events. A complete, detailed schedule will follow.
There is a flat cost of $100 that will cover all of your golf fees, boat gas and fees, transportation to and from the mountains, gear transportation, and a limited edition high quality Charge Harder T-Shirt to commemorate the day. To my knowledge, this is the only event of it's kind anywhere. You don't want to miss out on this one! The event will initially be limited to 16 Hard Charging dudes and dudettes since we have 2 wakeboard boats.
If you need proof that this can actually be done or you want to see how much fun it will be, check out the pics from last year's 1st Annual Coloradathon on our Facebook page:

Here is what the T-Shirt looked like last year:
*This event isn't for everyone. It requires a fairly high level of physical ability and skill to be able to complete all of these activities. If you aren't in shape or don't think you have the skills to attempt all of these activities, you might want to start training/practicing and check back with us again next year. I'm not trying to scare anyone away, just being realistic.
*You don't have to be an expert golfer, wakeboarder, snowboarder/skier, or mountain biker, but please no complete 1st timers of any 1 activity. There won't be enough time to teach people basic skills. You can also choose to sit-out of one or 2 events if you're not comfortable and participate in the rest.
