Kickstarter and Perks-Based Crowdfunding

Every meeting we start out by going over the 10 Unbreakable Rules and why it's essential not to break any of them.  Then, we'll deal with a new topic each month as well as answer questions specific to members' ongoing and contemplated campaigns.  Lastly, we'll spend a 1/2 hour at each meeting going over one members campaign in depth.

Come join us and become an expert in how to run and successfully conclude a traditional, online perks-based crowdfunding campaign.

Hosted by: Danielle Menditch, Moderator, Colorado Crowdfunding

Planning for your Crowdfunding Campaign

What does it take to prepare for a crowdfunding campaign? Do you need a plan, budget, marketing strategy, and someone to implement it? Absolutely! Join us to chat with Jonathan, owner of Tabletop Props, who is about to launch his Kickstarter campaign. He'll go through the entire process of planning his campaign, he'll even show us the backend of setting up Kickstarter. We'll follow up with Jonathan in July to discuss the successes and learning experiences from launching his campaign. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

What is Tabletop Props? Tabletop Props creates and manufactures detailed and affordable props for hobbyists who deal on the miniature scale. Please bring any questions that you have regarding the planning of a crowdfunding campaign. Also, please support our generous host, Cap City Tavern by purchasing food and/or beverage. We look forward to seeing you!

Thanks to everyone for your valuable feedback on our presentation. Also learned a lot from Jonathan's Tabletop Props presentation. If anyone has any more feedback to provide, please contact us through our website:

My husband, Eric and I would like to give a brief presentation on our company,, as well. We can either do it before the Tabletop Props presentation or after. We'd love to get some feedback on our community building efforts! Thanks :)

Hi Vui, I'm excited that you are going to present during our next meeting. Please limit your presentation including Q/A and feedback to no more than 15 minutes.

No problem. We'll keep it brief. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to present. See you then.
