I am the Head Freestyle Coach for the Vail Development Team. I began teaching/coaching for Vail Resorts in 1984. I am starting up a fun, ski/snowboarding jumping facility in Denver. Looking to raise capital through local crowd funding.
My business is ideal for crowd funding. The activity will sell itself. I can reward donors with day tickets, season passes, etc. I would like to utilize local crowd funding because the first location will be in Denver. I would prefer not to have to tell someone that they will have to travel to Denver to receive the reward.
Yes, I am looking to raise start up funding.
Have researched various crowd funding sites. Have not initiated a campaign yet.
I attended the last meetup at Brooklyn's, on 02/27, although I was unable to get the website to accept my RSVP. I found this meeting to be extremely worthwhile and will make sure my calendar is clear for future meetings. There were a few things that I learned, that definitely saved me from starting a crowd funding campaign that would have been doomed to fail before it even started. Little things make all the difference in the world, and something that should be completely successful can fail just because you overlooked seemingly small details. I can't wait for the next meeting. Best regards, Ted
