Herman Gulch

Hi gang!

Short notice, I know, but I am headed out to Herman Gulch next weekend. It is a beautiful hike, lots of water and shady spots until we get near the top, where there is a lake, and a small waterfall (if we are lucky...depends on if the snow has all gone). First part is a bit steep, but the remainder is easy. It is about a 7 mile round trip, and approximately 1600' elevation gain, and I think it peaks near 13000.

It is about an hour outside Denver, and is exit 218 off I-70.

Hope to see a few of you there!

Hi: We couldn't make the 9am time due to a conflict, so we went in the afternoon. What a great hike! Excellent choice Patrick. We arrived after the rain and thought we missed it all. Not true! It kept getting worse as we hiked up!
