Mt Sanitas ~ After work hike

This short (3.1 miles) loop but challenging hike rewards you with exceptional 360 degree views of the snow capped Indian Peaks, lower foothills and eastern Colorado plains.

Afterwards we will go to Sherpas and grab a bite to eat.

The Mt Sanitas Trailhead is located on Mapleton Road (0.5 mile west of 4th Street on Mapleton Avenue) in Boulder. Take Broadway to Mapleton Road and turn west. The Mt Sanitas Trailhead and roadside parking area is located just past the Mapleton Medical Center on the north side of the road.  Go through the wooden fence and just uphill is the trail head.

It will get dark. Please bring a headlamp.

Hey Gang ~ I don't like to admit that I am feeling under the weather... so....I am not sick....but I am concerned that if I did the hike this evening it would push me over the edge. I like to think I get it before it gets me. So a friend Moshe has been kind enough to step forward end lead the group. Did I mention I am not sick? Next time!!!! Have a great time!
