Does anyone still want to carpool. I live near Wash park (close to DU) and have room in my car.

On the way home I thought about the going out to eat. In the case of Lewi and Missy
we can put the dogs up at my house. Can not have them in the Little Bear ---- The others
might not want to keep them in their cars and not sure I want lots of strange dogs in my house.

This might have seemed like a good idea when I brought it up, but might not be practical.

FYI only.
Rick

Re: [newintown-1025] Big Hike I have two others that want to carpool as well, one in wash park, and one near me. Not sure where it would be convenient for us all to meet up, though. I live near I70, so if everyone wanted to meet here. Thoughts?

Also, Rick and I were talking about going for a bite to eat after the hike at a place nearby in Evergreen.

Peace

Patrick

Patrick,
Is the hike on Sunday at 9a.m. or 7 a.m.? I've seen both times listed.
Please advise regarding time and where to meet for carpooling.
thanks,
Cristina

Some of you have asked if dogs were allowed on the 14'r and the  answer is yes, it is a doggy inclusive hike.

Also, while I always  recommend you use your own discretion concerning leash laws, I almost always  allow my doggy to roam leash free on hikes, as he is voice command trained, is  non-confrontational, and will almost always stay in sight and close to the  trail.

I will wait a few more days to allow more feedback to trickle  in, and then post from there. Also. if anyone is interested in carpooling or  volunteering to carpool to keep impact down, it would be nice to arrange  something. I have a pickup truck so I can only take one other person/dog with  me. If you are interested in that, let me know as well.

Thanks!

Peace
