We are interested in peak oil, climate change, veganism, animal rights, energy issues, environmental issues, human rights, sustainable living, and sustainable food. This group is for people with a cause, or for those looking to make a difference in the world. This group also continues the work of "Denver Energy Awareness," an informal group concerned about energy issues which started after the 2005 ASPO-USA conference in Denver.
If you have an activity and want to get the word out, email an organizer. If you want to participate and be a voice for the exploited or oppressed, keep checking in. Activities may include, but are not limited to, think tank discussions, demonstrations, city council meetings, and letter writing campaigns.
We are nonsectarian and do not promote particular political parties or religions. We may discuss political issues, but we are not promoting any political party or particular agenda. We may discuss religious ideas, but we are nonsectarian, and open to Buddhists, Christians, Jews, atheists, or anyone else. Our goal is to help the oppressed and exploited, not help foster political or religious agendas.
I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
