It's the second sprite night! Now that we've got all the history and basic info out of the way, let's get down to business.
The second class will focus on some of the most important basics - light and shadow, and how to use these to create a form. The lesson portion of the meetup will be much briefer than last time (promise!). We'll then work together on basic shapes, and experienced artists will be welcome to show off something more advanced - in which case we'll examine how they're using these same techniques in more advanced ways.
Please make sure to bring something to work with! Laptop, desktop, tablet, or even pencil and paper. If you bring a laptop, be sure to have a mouse - touchpads are horrible for this.
As always, novices and pros and everyone in between are welcome! Can't wait to see you all!
NOTE: The meeting location has changed! We love Denhac, but are getting too big for the space. CiGDA meetings will begin taking place at Westwood College's Denver North campus starting with this Sprite Night. This campus is at I-25 and US-36 - nice and central to Boulder, Longmont, and South Denver. We'll be in Room 227!
