Had a thought on the way home about the whole 'supernatural/f
antasy' element discussion, and its being missing from chapter 1.
You have another character in the story at this point - Argos. I don't know if you have further plans for Argos later, but you could try to work out a fantasy element through him without changing the very normal life that Emily and Ben have up to that point.Just a thought.
