Dinner at Salt of the Earth

Salt of the Earth Catering opened a buffet restaurant in January.  Let's try it!  Here is the menu for that week ...

Shredded Beef
Pulled Pork
BBQ Sauce Assortment (on side)
Scalloped Potatoes
Salad Bar
Cornbread with Butter
Brownie Shortcake
Fruit with
Raspberry Lime Sauce

Cost of the buffet is $11.95 for adults and $5.95 for kids.

A regular menu is also available.  Visit their website for details.

Salt of the Earth is owned by a local couple, Patrick & Sherry Reltmayer.  I don't know much about it, but it was recommended to me by someone who has given me good recommendations before.  I hope you'll join me in supporting this new local business!

The owners are a delightful couple, their children are adorable, the concept of the changing buffet is cleaver, the food didn't taste like something right out of a can and the corn muffins were to die for. Great evening.

Usually I schedule things for Thursday evenings, but thought I'd try something different this time. Sorry you can't make it. :-(

Any objection to me ordering from the full menu rather than the buffet? I need to double check my schedule, but if you don't mind me being "different" I'd like to join you. :)
