Faerie Moon - Saturday, June 26 at 6:30 p.m.
Monday, June 14, 2010 10:59 AM
Since this Full Moon is close to Midsummer Night, our ritual will honor the Fay. These are NOT the pre-pubescent creatures depicted by the Victorian and Disney imaginations, but the Sidhe, a powerful race of beings with whom our ancestors had fairly frequent (and usually unscheduled) contact.
While we're in sacred space, we'll create something we hope will delight them. (As you probably know, they appreciate art in all its forms.)
If you have a drum or other musical instrument, PLEASE bring it. They're very fond of music and singing and dancing.
We'll also have a potluck before our ritual, so bring something to share if you can.
Above all, come with a respectful heart and mind. These are not beings to screw around with or insult, and they take offense relatively easily. But that's what being Witches and Pagans is all about, right? Going to the edge of beyond with loving hearts and adventurous spirits.
