20 miles if we ride the whole thing, depends on trail conditions and how we feel as the ride progresses. Around 2500+ft elevation gain.
This is a perfect ride for those who are looking for a relatively easy technical level of trail with several hours of climbing and descending.
My plan for this ride is to ride all the trails starting with Sundance south and then across to the north side and up then down Boulder Run, Looping Blackmer with Cougars Shadow and finishing with the Talon lollipop. I am estimating around 4 hours for the total ride based on previous times. The nice part of this ride we are close to the trailhead throughout the ride so if anyone needs to bail at some point they can and only be 10-20 min from the trailhead and trails are well marked. There is a $7 charge per car to enter the park. I'll update info on this ride as time progresses and as needed. If I find out the trails are too muddy the venue will change. I am starting early to beat the mud if possible. If there is a major change I'll email everyone who has RSVP'd Yes so check your mail before heading out Thursday morning.
