Fruit tree grafting class: $35 tuition includes one tree and all materials

Make your own fruit tree-literally! This class we will learn how to graft our own fruit tree. Participants can select from  apples, regular pears and Asian pears. Many varieties offered  just cannot be found in stores, because they aren't good to ship, and don't look "perfect". The varieties offered have been selected for excellent taste, hardiness and disease resistance.  Students will receive expert instruction, and plenty of hands on practice. These classes are always lots of fun for everyone and students will be able to take home a tree that they put together themselves. The $35 tuition includes all materials, instruction, guided practice and a tree. At the end of class we will have a drawing for a free pre-grafted tree. Students may graft a second variety onto their tree. To register for this class please call Buckley's Homestead Supply at 358-8510. Class size is limited to 10 participants for best instruction, and limited space. Please note: An RSVP on this site does not register you. Please call[masked] to register. Couples discount offered.  Note:  This class is also offered on Sunday March 30th at 12-2 :30pm .

Mini dwarf apple root stock results in a tree that may only get 4 feet tall. These can be grown happily in a pot, and in the ground. I know there will be some of these.

Can these be kept indoor, or do they have to be planted?

I learned so much the last time around. But I need to hone the skills.

I'm a patio gardener and would be very interested in attending if there will be any varieties that can be grown in containers.
