Please take a moment to comment on your experience level with urban homesteading, and your areas of interest. Thank you!

We have been raising livestock and gardening in Colorado for 30+ years. I have lived in Europe too and gardened there as well in containers. We have a greenhouse and I have worked in the gardening and agriculture business for 30 + years. We want to help people understand you can raise your own food. In a pot, on a balcony, in your garage, backyard or basement. Our livestock experience includes sheep, goats, chickens, pork, horses, cows and hope to get into bees next. Our easiest gardening projects are green beans, corn, carrots, beets, broccoli, onions, potatoes, strawberries, peaches, radishes, cucumbers, lettuce, chard, and collards. We butcher our own chickens and can teach you how to. We are hoping to raise more next year to share with people willing to volunteer their time to help butcher. No experience nessicarry.

What is your ZIP code?

We are Easter Egg Acres, Marilan Luttrell and Gary Henriksen. We have a 60 acre farm in Ellicott. We raise our own foods and want to show others that no matter how small scale you can too. We raise Dairy goats, laying hens, meat chickens and pork.
