I've studied food systems for over ten years, from traveling to Nicaragua to study fair trade coffee, to living in Ecuador to studying quinoa production, to gardening in my own backyard. I teach, develop recipes, cook, sprout, and dehydrate food. I'm particularly interested in heirloom crop varieties and genetic biodiversity of food plants. I hope to learn more about wild edible plants through this group, improve my gardening skills, and meet new food lovers.
