absolutely fabulous group of bright, creative, fun, knowledgable, enterprising and resourceful folks!
Howdy, Nathan. It seems we are interested in many of the same topics, though that is not difficult seeing your extensive list! Urban foraging was sure easier in Portland than here. My travels were ideal for the hobby of identifying indigenous plants, though each new site required additions to my library and logging. I hope to meet you and learn what you have accomplished here so far.
Hi Nathan! Thanks for the welcome :-) See you all at one of the meetups :-)
Thanks for the welcome, Nathan. I'm looking forward to learning new things.
Thank you for the welcome. I'll be arriving to CO in June and hope to learn a lot this year so that my garden next year will be a success. I'm always eager to see demos, hear "how-to" speakers/workshops and to learn from trial and error. I am super excited about this group. I'm particularlly interested now about building bat boxes, learning about what the current thoughts on saving bees from the mites, etc. that plague them (although I do not have a bee colony myself).
Thanks, Nathan! Looking forward to learning and practicing more with all the great information you provide. Check out THE GARDENING WITH THE MOON class offered Saturday, April 13, 3 pm at HILLSIDE GARDENS re ways to plant and harvest per moon cycles in harmony with nature.
Thanks for the welcome, Nathan. From your self-description, we are cut from the same cloth.
We are so excited to have found this group and ready to soak up all the information we can!
Nathan, it was great to visit and meet you at the seed meet up, when is the next meet up on seeds? Also I have 70 Junebearing Honeoye Strawberry plants that I over order if you or know of anyone that would like them, and I will have about 50 Ozark everbearing that I over ordered as well to give to the community. As well as red onion sets :) you can email me also at [masked]
