Introduction

d I just want to be able to support myself with the small luxuries in life... like soap if Armageddon ever hits. So I've been working on how to do some of this stuff on my own for years now. a friend brought me onto this group because of that.

Please take a moment to comment on your experience level with urban homesteading, and your areas of interest. Thank you!

I have a greenhouse in my back yard.. I used it last year but haven't done anything with it over the winter months so far. I am interested in bee keeping but do not have enough land to do something like that. I am going to try canning this year along with all the personal food products I will be growing my back yard. I have already started working on making soap, I have made one batch that is just a tad bit ruff on the skin, I will probably use it to make my next batch of laundry soap. I am going to start working on doing backyard composting.

What is your ZIP code?
