Version Control

Come on Git Happy!

We all use some form of version control, whether we call it that or not. Given the varied backgrounds of web development professionals, these systems of version control are all over the place. The purpose of this presentation is to give a bit of background on Git, the version control system that along with GitHub is taking the development world by storm. We will go over the basics of Git, and how you can start using it today for your personal development workflows. We will go on to talk about how Git and GitHub are great for managing code bases in a team environment, where multiple people touch the code.

Is this talk focused around one or more specific version control system/s (and if so, which one/s?) or is it more general?
