Changing Landscapes - OSMP After the Floods
Sun. Nov. 3, 2 pm
Meet at the Chautauqua Ranger Cottage. Please do not bring dogs.
OSMP invites you to join a naturalist to hike the Upper McClintock trail and visit areas affected by the flood. We will provide contemplative time to absorb the changes on the land, as well as a brief overview of these events from the perspective of natural geologic change. This is an easy hike, about 2 miles round trip with 400 feet of elevation gain.
You don't need a reservation to join one of these programs, but they will be first come - first served and limited to the first 25 participants.
Natural Selections hikes, offered by City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks, are free staff-guided programs to explore parts of the OSMP system. Topics include natural and cultural history of the Boulder area.
Bring a snack, water and wear comfortable clothes and shoes for hiking. Please leave dogs at home. For a full list of all programs, check out our web page: www.NatureHikes.org
