I used to go on 20-mile walks when I had more free time. It brought back fond memories just thinking about those long walks.
Yes. I've done a 20-mile round-trip walk to and from the Cherry Creek Reservoir.
I prefer walking in the wilderness on a full or multi-day walk. I used to do city walks when I was younger, but I have always preferred wilderness walks to connect most especially with nature, and also with the people sharing the nature walk with me. If it's a city walk, I'd like to walk from one garden, park or landscaped area to the next. I don't enjoy walking next to rivers of car traffic, frequent traffic intersections, and barren landscapes.
I am the co-founder of the Meetup.com group Topic-Talk Walks (TTWalks). I'd love to collaborate with the Walk2Connect group to introduce Topic-TTWalkers to this opportunity for much longer walks.
I loved walking with this group.
