Gentle Thanksgiving Potluck

Join us for our veg-friendly Thanksgiving celebration at a beautiful, new venue!  This event is sponsored by The Vegetarian Society of Colorado.  Bring family and friends. Tofurkys will be provided! This event is open to the public and a registered event with FARM's website.

"The truth behind Thanksgiving Turkeys" http://www.gentlethanksgiving.org/

We want to welcome everyone, regardless of dietary preference, to share a plant-based meal (a meal free of animal products) while learning about a more compassionate lifestyle. Join others in our community for a delicious plant based meal, fun and interesting conversation!

What to Bring:

  • A Thanksgiving themed vegan dish (no dairy, eggs, gelatin, honey or other animal derived products). To avoid replicate dishes, record what you plan to bring in the RSVP comment window.
  • To ensure enough food is provided, please bring one dish per person (enough for 8 people).
  • Recipe or ingredient card
  • Plate, cup, and utensils (to cut down on waste)

For specific questions regarding this event, please contact Lisa. See you there!

I've been waiting to post that I'm bringing a chocolate pumpkin bundt cake to see first if it turned out. Sure enough, it didn't, but I'm bringing it anyway. For anyone brave enough to try it pretend it's a gooey brownie. ;-) Will also bring some flavored seltzer water and some packaged roasted seaweed.

No worries Betsy. You'll won't have a problem getting anyone from this group to eat gooey brownies! ;-)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
