Yes, the any a reasons to stay clear of "meat" products, fast food, etc. I hate the USDA. I really do. I can go on and on, but I am glad a few of us are not fooled any longer.

I think the worst part, even beyond the ammonia (used for homeade bombs?!), is that the e.coli and salmonella still survive, and that we choose to feed this slime to the children of the future. Maybe the more concerned people/parents, the more we can get healthier foods into our school lunch menus?

This article is long but very interesting...scroll a few pages in and you can see routine poultry procedures. All the publication on pink slime may hide the everyday cruelties and disgust of the factory farming industry.
