Looking for a easy way to start a vegetarian or vegan diet? Amy's frozen meals are vegetarian and are available in the frozen foods section. They usually have vegan options as well. I've been impressed with Amy's Frozen meals so far. I just bought a vegan pot pie. They are not always cheap but if you compare it to fast food or going out to eat I think it is pretty comparable. And they use a lot of organic ingredients.

The roasted vegetable cheeseless pizza is by far the best pizza ever! Even a vegetarian would find it awesome. ; )
I like her tamale with tomatia (sp?) sauce as well. Super yummy!

I've eaten Amy's for more years than I care to divulge; but since their beginning! Awesome choices of food and company. They named the business after her, Amy and now she is grown. Oops, TMI.

If a bunch of you wanted to, you can order a case of Amy's product at Sammy's Organics and get it for around 15-18 % mark up which is way cheaper than buying at other locations. Talk to Vivian or Robert and give my name, Sharon Schulman, I'm sure they would love to offer this to you... must be complete cases. They have a second store at Constitution and Circle, which may also offer the special...ask

Also, wanted to mention Amazon Herb Co products are all vegetarian and in veg caps. They have a great power shake that is a raw food product. you can order it at Or, I have some available.

Here I go with Costco again but they really do a great job carrying organic food/health food. They currently carry boxes of Amy's Soup (Minestrone and Lentil) and boxes of Amy's frozen Veggie Lasagna.

l'll start a thread for some of our other Costco favorites since I think it's worth everyone knowing about!
