Thanks to both Johns! I thought it would be a great if people could try out WP themes without having to buy the theme just to discover it doesn't do what they thought or expected. So I installed a new WP site on one of my domains and put on the theme I use, which is Avada by Theme-Fusion (Themeforest). If you want to try out the theme, not just view it, but actually log on to see the backend, just email me at [masked] and I'll provide the user log on account info. If you do decide to test drive the theme, here's the link to the documentation: http://theme-fusion.com/support/documentation/avada-documentation/

Also, the theme has an option to download demo content, it's already been downloaded from Avada, so don't download it again cuz it will ready mess up the site!

Hey guys and gals, what do you think of this article? https://yoast.com/opinion-on-sliders/

They're a fad that has seen its day. Being a web designer means not just throwing something on a website because everybody else has it.

We can hope. But I think sliders are going to be with us for a long time as long as decision makers evaluate a "good" design based purely on aesthetics, regardless of what the designer recommends.

I love to win things on the internet and I thought this would be perfect for this group. WPBeginner has a huge giveaway right now and I hope someone here wins. More info at http://www.wpbeginner.com/wpbeginner-5th-birthday-giveaway-help-build-a-school/

All the prizes are WordPress related... good luck and I hope we all win!

I used to use Headway. Now I use a custom theme I built myself.

What themes do you currently use? Or do you have a go-to theme that you use for everything?
