The Colorado Tea Party Mission Statement

The mission of the Colorado Tea Party is to create a culture and government landscape that reflects the vision of our Founding Fathers as set forth in the Constitution, Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights. We are a non partisan group of like-minded Americans that embrace a small limited government, capitalism, free markets, personal responsibility, and freedom as well as state and national sovereignty. We will facilitate and provide an opportunity, and make the tools available, to empower our members to achieve their political goals. We will accomplish our mission through community involvement and by participating in the election process.

This is is version 8, current as of 7/17/10

Please send suggestions to

The guidelines are that we will keep the mission statement to five articles and no more than a half-page or so in length. It must be clear, concise, memorable, and directly related to problems and action.
