Announcing a new event for Things To Do In Denver...!

What: A Different Kind of Book Club.... a 5 star rated event!

When: Sunday, November 18, 3:00 PM

Where: (A location for this event hasn't been chosen yet)

Event Description: ***LOCATION WILL BE POSTED SOON. EMAIL ORGANIZER WITH SUGGESTIONS.***

Join Things to Do in Denver for "A Different Kind of Book Club." Rather than getting an assignment, everyone reads the book of their choice. (Can be anything you've read ever!) Come prepared to share a few thoughts about a book you've read and would like share with others. If you're not a master of public speaking or literary analysis, do not fear. Below are some examples of things to discuss.

-How were you interested in reading this book in the first place?
-What other books have your read in this genre?
-Is there anything interesting about the author?
-What is a brief synopsis of the plot or information presented in the book?
-What did you like most about the book?

With your RSVP, please list the name of the book you plan to talk about (you can edit your RSVP comments up until the time of the meeting). The organizer will bring a list of books and authors to pass out at the Meetup for future reference.

We'll be meeting at a coffee house or cafe somewhere in Central Denver. Details on exact location will be posted as soon as this is finalized.

A FEW ADDITIONAL NOTES:
-You do not have to have read a book to attend. You may attend just for the socialization, which is of course the main focus of our group! :)
-You may discuss any book you have read, as long as you can remember enough to talk about it for 3 mins or more. Doesn't have to be a recent read.

The Book Club Meetups should not be a chore! :) Come and have some fun, learn about some interesting books, and meet some new people.
