Saturday Board Game Event

Dear Members,

There was a board game event this Saturday and I was very disappointed with the amount of no shows.  Two people include myself attended this event.  It still can be a very cool event if people who are asking to attend, indeed attend.  If people are not interested in doing this anymore, I will make it a private event and not post it on the meetup page any further.  If you are wanting to attend an event, instead of just blowing it off, please make the effort to change your RSVP or send me or the event a note.  A lot of time is taken into planning fun events and frankly it is very annoying and challenging when planning events when this happens.  If any of you have planned events where others do not attend and make no effort to let you know, it does hamper the event.  There were more than enough games to go around on Saturday morning that we could have had several games going well into the afternoon.  I have talked to people about this before and I know that things come up and many times at the last minute.  However, no one who blew this event off made any effort to contact me or the event with a note saying they were not coming.  I would have understood with the weather or if they were just not interested in attending this week or any further.  Anything is better than just being a no-show and hampering the event itself.  Those of you who continue to no show for the next event, I will remove you from attending the event.  If anyone has an issue with that or with my comments in regards to the no show please feel free to contact me.  I belong to many other groups that have the same problem and draw the same conclusions in regards to no shows.  Thank you for your consideration on this matter.

Sincerely,

Jason I Chaousy
