If you haven't been to the Prairie, then you are missing out. It is a wonderful place to connect with a wide variety of rescued farm animals. Just be prepared to be licked by a cow.
We will meet at the Alameda Park-N-Ride at 10:30AM and Carpool to the Prairie. Please let me know if you are willing to drive in your RSVP.

Our annual Picnic on the Prairie is your chance to come out and meet all of the wonderful Peaceful Prairie Sanctuary residents!
Come see the endearing individuals rescued and cared for thanks to your support. Walk through the fields with the goats and sheep, sit by the pond with the ducks and geese, and "Cock-a-doodle-doo" along with the talkative roosters. Give a pig a belly rub and compliment the turkeys as they proudly display their spring plumage.
Amanda Groves will be giving two guided tours:
The first, at 11:30 AM, and the second at 1:30 PM.
